After Shah Rukh Khan, Salman now hugs Katrina Kaif

It seems Salman Khan's new year resolution is to forgive and forget! He has been on a hugging spree lately. He recently surprised everyone when he congratulated Shah Rukh Khan on Chennai Express success at an awards show that he was hosting. He also met very warmly with Abhishek Bachchan.

And now we hear that he has hugged his former girlfriend Katrina Kaif.

According to a report in a tabloid website, Salman and Katrina happened to be at a studio where the Bollywood star was present for the launch of the first look of his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri's movie Oh Teri and Katrina had come for a commercial shoot.

Salman reportedly met her there, greeting her with a warm hug.

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif not on talking terms?

We had told you a few days back that all is not well between the most talked about couple of Bollywood Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. The couple, who brought in the New Year together in New York, are believed to have had some differences on the trip.

If reports are to be believed, the actors are no longer on talking terms.

Both of them are shooting for Anurag Basu's 'Jagga Jasoos' and buzz is that they have kept to themselves during the shoot of the film recently.

"During the first schedule of the film, both Ranbir and Katrina were together all the time, but now some distance has crept into their relationship.

Infact, it was only after three to four days that Ranbir decided to catch up with Katrina in her vanity van. Besides, his was a brief visit, he only dropped in for half an hour," a tabloid quoted its source.

Has Salman Khan moved on from his ex girlfriends Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif?

The Jai Ho actor has had a ‘type’ as far as his heroines on and off screen are concerned. But his tastes seem to be changing with age and maturity, as you will see in his new film…
Daisy Shah, Salman Khan’s heroine in Jai Ho reminds us neither of his ex Aishwarya Rai (now Bachchan) nor of Katrina Kaif. In fact, barring her height, this dusky beauty has nothing in common with any of Sallu’s former girlfriends.

In the past we have often noticed how Sallu has cast actors who resemble or are clones of his lady loves. There was a time when the Dabangg Khan seemed obsessed with lookalikes of his ex-girlfriends, so much so that he promoted them extensively even as he romanced them onscreen. But Salman’s fascination for these girls of a kind – whatever or whoever that ‘kind’ may be – seems to have waned with time… or has it?

Close on the heels of his close pal Aamir Khan, Salman Khan is now all set to create dhoom at the box office with his latest film, Jai Ho. Practically speaking, a Sallu film doesn’t really need a heroine. The bhai of Bollywood is so dumdaar that he can carry any film on his own beefy shoulders, hai na? But it’s nice to see him fall in love and not be heartbroken, so what if it’s only on the big screen, right? And in his much-awaited film, the Being Human star will be seen romancing newbie Daisy Shah, who has a passing resemblance to both Rani Mukherji and Shilpa Shetty, both close friends but not romantic cling-ons of the superstar. While we are not big fans of the former dancer yet – not until we see her acting skills, at least – we are simply glad that she doesn’t remind us of any of Salman’s ex-lovers.

Here’s a look at the ladies who got a chance to enter the competitive world of B-town thanks to Sallu miyaan and to the fact that they resembled some beauty he once dated….  Read More,,,

Claudia Ciesla: Ms Ciesla added to Salman’s list of videshi connects. This German model’s claim to fame was her much rumoured and talked about closeness with the Wanted actor and her stint in the Bigg Boss 3 house – which many credit to Salman.  Read More,,,

Elli Avram: Ms Avram is a mix of Ash and Kat; she has striking resemblance to Ms Kaif and the light eyes of Ash, but falls several inches short as far as their height goes. Industry buzz  Read More,,,

Hrithik-Katrina's ill health delays Bang Bang filming schedule again?

After the filming schedule for Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif starrer 'Bang Bang' got moved from November to January due to the former's ill health at the time, the movie has come face-to-face with yet another road block.

According to reports, director Siddharth Anand was planning to shoot a dance, and action sequence on January 14, and the schedule was to continue till January 20. But, reportedly, the four-day schedule didn't work since Hrithik isn't all too keen on shooting the action scenes just yet, and Katrina Kaif is recovering from flu in London.

Reports also claim that Hrithik will start filming from January 15, while Katrina will join the crew later in February for another outdoor shoot.

Be that as it may, Hrithik has reportedly denied these reports saying the shoot starts on January 15, 2014.

Not interested in getting married: Salman Khan

Superstar Salman Khan says he is not interested in getting married and is happy being single.

"I am not interested in getting married or having a girlfriend. I am loving my single status. In 30 years I must have been single...I am loving it. I am absolutely having a blast...you have no idea how I am feeling," Salman said in an interview here.

In the past, Salman was uncomfortable and always dodged queries on his marriage but now he seems to have a way around questions on his single status. "Now that I am single...I can do whatever I can. There is no need to give explanation, or lie to anyone. Whoever wants to come (in my life) can come...but don't expect anything," Salman said.

Ask him if he is commitment phobic, the 48-year-old says, "When I commit...then I commit. Right now, I am non-committal about anything." But he does respect women.

"I respect women and I will always continue to do it. I have never spoken ill about anyone," Salman said.

Salman has had relationships with various actresses including Somy Ali, Sangeeta Bijlani, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Katrina Kaif. His love-life and link-ups still continues to be the stuff of gossip mills.

Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif to spend a month in Thailand for Jagga Jasoos

Sometimes due to work and sometimes by choice but Bollywood's alleged couple Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif always find smart ways to spend time together. This time the latest buzz is that they are all set to spend a month together in Thailand.

According to a leading publication, they will be away from the media glare for a month.

The publication quoted a source as saying, "Anurag Basu is going to resume the shoot of Jagga Jasoos by the second week of January with the duo. This time it's a long schedule of almost 40 days. Ranbir is keen to finish the shoot in this schedule as he has other commitments throughout the year. There might be a few other shots left, which he'll finish later as he juggles other film schedules."

The film directed by Anurag Basu features Ranbir and Katrina in the lead.

Dhoom 3 box office collection reaches Rs.408 crore worldwide

Aamir Khan starrer Dhoom 3 continues its reign at the the Indian box office and is selling strong after having completed its third week.

The film grossed around 3.5 crore on its third Saturday from Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions, as estimated early.

And this mega success is not just at the domestic box office, since Dhoom 3 has made a huge impact in the international arena also. The film has broken all overseas records set so far, emerging the highest grosser ever in a number of key markets such as the United States-Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

"Dhoom 3- All Languages 3rd Friday Hindi Rs.3.03 Cr Tamil & Telugu Rs.0.11 Cr Total Rs.3.14 Cr Grand Total:- Rs.260.45 Cr," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

In just two weeks, the film has made a business of about 149.47 crore from overseas box offices.

"#Dhoom3 *Overseas total* till yesterday [3rd week Friday]: $ 24.01 million [149.47 cr]. All Time Blockbuster," Adarsh tweeted.

The worldwide total of the film, after 15 days, now stands at 413.42 crore.

However, the spell that Dhoom 3 has cast might dwindle soon, as two films - Dedh Ishqiya and Yaariyan - are all set to release this week and will have an impact on the domestic business of of the film.

Dhoom 3, which is the third installment in the Dhoom franchise, is produced under the Yash Raj banner.

Dhoom 3 becomes highest grossing film in Nepal

Bollywood hit 'Dhoom 3' has created history in Nepal by becoming the first film to gross Rs.6 crores at the box office.

The movie - starring Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Abhishek Bachchan - earned the amount in just two weeks.

The film has been screened without competition at multiplexes across Nepal, including the Kathmandu Valley.

According to sources close to the film's distributor, 'Dhoom 3' is the first film to earn Rs.6 crores in Nepal.

A Nepali film is considered a hit if it earns around Rs.20 lakhs at the box office. By that standard, 'Dhoom 3' has earned the equivalent of 30 hit Nepali films.

Last year, around 60 foreign films released in three multiplexes in Kathmandu earned over Rs.20 crores.

"It is natural that hit artists like Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Katrina Kaif sell well in the Nepalese market", said Tirtha Thapa, a noted film director.

"The brand name of the Indian film industry sells here, rather than the story," he said. "The artist, acting and quality of a picture make it successful in the eye of viewers."

Indian films dominate Nepal's movie halls. It is only in remote villages where Nepali films have a high demand, Thapa said.

In major cities like Kathmandu, Biratnagar, Pokhara and Bhairahwa, Hindi films have an 80 per cent share of the market, according to him.

The quality of Nepali films is deteriorating though the number of movies produced every year has touched 120, Thapa said.

A decade ago, Nepali films used to earn Rs.50 lakhs to 60 lakhs but now they hardly make Rs.15 lakhs to 20 lakhs, he added.
