Will Shahrukh Khan and Sunny Leone come together for a film?

Shahrukh-Khan-Sunny-Leone1.jpg

The bold and beautiful babe who made a splash in the Bigg Boss house and followed it with a debut in Bollywood with Jism 2 must be elated

Shahrukh Khan and Sunny Leone might just come together for a film! The ever gracious King Khan made his presence felt at the Jackpot premiere yesterday night. The Happy New Year star was out to support Sunny and Sachiin Joshi for their film and wished their film luck. When SRK was quizzed about working with Ragini MMS actor in a film he gave a reply that would make Sunny very very happy. The superstar showed interest and even added that it would be his good fortune. Shahrukh said, “I have never been part of casting my films. Directors do it. If there is a film, I will be fortunate enough to work with Sunny Leone.”

Now that must have been a bigger surprise for Sunny, than him attending their premiere right…Well, now Sunny should only wish that a director decides to cast them together, hai na BollywoodLifers? That would be the dream come true moment for Ms Leone.

Koffee with Karan 4: Was Kareena Kapoor Khan’s ‘sister-in-law’ remark on Katrina Kaif planned?

Katrina has revealed that Kareena’s ‘sister-in-law remark’ about her was planned

Kareena Kapoor Khan looked spontaneous as she referred to Ranbir Kapoor’s alleged girlfriend Katrina Kaif as sister-in-law. However, looks like this ‘candid conversation’ wasn’t an instant reaction to Karan Johar’s intrusive questions on Koffee with Karan 4. While everyone enjoyed Kareena Kapoor’s candid side, seems like it was all a facade. Why do we say so, you ask? Well, we saw Kareena and her cousin Ranbir bonding on KWK, where Bebo spilled out the ‘open’ secret of Ranbir’s alleged relationship with the Dhoom:3 star. The Begum surprised us when she went on to address Kat as her sister-in-law. But if you thought that all of this was very instinctive and candid, then we must say that you were clearly wrong.

According to Ms Kaif, she and Kareena had discussed about the ‘sis-in-law’ remark. In fact this was planned in advance at Karan Johar party when Kat met Ranboo’s sister. Katrina said at a recent event, “Before the shoot of the episode, Karan had kept a dinner where I and Kareena were there. Kareena said to me she will pull everyone’s leg (on the show). She asked me if she can say it (sister-in-law remark) in a fun way…and that was okay with me.”

Now this definitely is something, isn’t it? We had heard about reality shows being rigged and scripted, looks like even chat shows have now decided to make sensational statements to grab headlines and eyeballs. So next time when you are watching Koffee with Karan, and a celeb makes a controversial statement, you just know that you aren’t supposed to take it seriously. For all you know, the guests and hosts must have had a thorough discussion at a party to pen down some

Trade buzz: Will Sunny Leone’s sex appeal in Jackpot overshadow Dimple Kapadia’s acting prowess in What The Fish!?

Jackpot-What-the-Fish-Trade-buzz.jpg

This week Sunny Leone’s Jackpot will clash with Dimple Kapadia’s What The Fish! at the box office. With hardly any buzz around both the c, which one will manage to pull in crowds at the theatres?

Kaizad Gustad’s thriller Jackpot stars Naseeruddin Shah and Sachiin Joshi besides the Canadian adult actor Sunny Leone. While Jackpot has grabbed lot of attention coz of Sunny’s bold scenes with her co-star Sachin, we aren’t sure if it will boast the prospects of the film at ticket windows. On the other hand, director Gurmmeet Singh’s What The Fish (WTF)! looks good despite the fact that there is no big star except for Dimple Kapadia in the film. Though the trailer received positive response from the audience, the makers haven’t gone all out to promote their small budget film. So which film stands a good to rake in moolah at the box office? “Both Jackpot and What The Fish are films that lack the appeal to make a significant impact on a pan India basis, but shall have a very specific and niche audience of their own. While Jackpot may appeal to the front benches in single screens courtesy the presence of Sunny Leone, What The Fish! will hopefully bring in a class of audience that enjoys urban and dark comedies at the multiplexes” says exhibitor-distributor Akshaye Rathi.

However, Sunny’s film might just race ahead of What The Fish! as the former will occupy more screens than the latter one. “ While Anil Thadani has managed to do an excellent job with the distribution of Jackpot across multiplexes and single screens, WTF will remain restrained to a few shows at the national multiplex chains and at best a few single screens” points out Rathi.

While there is no doubt about the fact that Dimple Kapadia is anytime a better actor than Sunny, there is possibility that Jism 2 actor’s sex appeal may spoil the show for the B-town veteran beauty.
