Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan is elated that the cameo by his youngest child AbRam in 'Happy New Year' is fetching compliments. 
The actor, 48, said he received many messages about AbRam's appearance in the end credits but the best compliment came from his co-star Deepika Padukone. AbRam is Shah Rukh's third child born via surrogacy last year.

Jessica Chastain got back at the Interstellar premiere

We've only got a few more days to go before INTERSTELLAR finally hits theaters.



 I don't know about the rest of you, but this is one of my most anticipated of the year for a number of reasons. Christopher Nolan has a big reason to do with that, of course, but with hotties like Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain getting in on the action, it's hard not to be a little excited to see their gorgeous selves on the big screen. While we threw you all a story of Anne looking phenomenal at the premiere, seeing Jessica in her backless dress is equally as impressive.

AnnaSophia made this appearance at some event last night, wearing a seductive strapless number. These pics illustrate a number of AnnaSophia's various qualities which contribute to the generally positive take most folks have of her. My favorite might be those anime sized eyes she's got. Girl is practically a walking, talking Japanese cartoon character with those big peepers. It's been proven that the brain responds to large eyes with an increased sense of sympathy and care. Something about babies and such. AnnaSophia has herself a beautiful smile as well, which has always been a positive draw for me.

 Honestly, I don't know how any of those people manage to handle themselves so nonchalantly with a creature like Emily running around in the same room they're in. She's got to immediately draw all eyes when entering a room - particularly when she's wearing one of these "do me" dresses like the one she's got on here. Doesn't matter who you are. Get an eyeful of Emily and you can't just continue with your bullshit smalltalk nonsense. Your mind is immediately flush with ideas of what you'd like to do with her. Hell, she's hot enough that even a few women would probably have a fantasy or two about her as well.

Filming just keeps going on and on for Victoria Justice's show Eye Candy.



They've been filming shit for this show for over a year, so you'd think they'd have enough footage to piece it together by now. Perhaps the folks behind the scenes are just as smitten with Vicky as we are around here and thus are making up excuses to keep filming her. Inspired thinking on their part, getting her in this tight gear for a very intense, very serious jogging excursion through Central Park. It's also mildly infuriating that no one thought to get a shot of her from behind.

(They refer to it as "Strictly Come Dancing.") Riley is 28-years old and apparently dating her former dance partner from the show, having previously been married for a whopping year to someone named Jamie Gilbert.

I'm a diehard fan of "Veronica Mars"

I'm a diehard fan of "Veronica Mars," and while I could go on and on about all the things I love about the show (and how I was happily one of the people who donated to the campaign to get our movie), one of the people who came out of that show that I expected to be bigger and yet seemed to fizzle was the gorgeous Tessa Thompson. As spoiled brat Jackie Cook, Thompson fought to preserve that slice of color at Neptune High and didn't back down against indomitable pint-sized private eye. After her stint with Bell was over, Thompson had a chance at recapturing TV awesomeness with "Hidden Palms" (also the place where we first dug our eyes into the vision of Amber Heard) but the show quickly fizzled.

Gillian Anderson is still looking spectacular in new photoshoot

Commonly, books with popular actors listed as the authors are penned by ghost writers after having a sit down with the famous person to get an idea of what they'd write, given them having the ability to.



Gillian's doesn't seem to be all that different, although she's at least more honest, listing Jeff Rovin as a collaborator. Rovin has worked on novels with Tom Clancy in the past, so that might help you get an idea of what this book is like. Or not...

HOT OR NOT: RENE RUSSO

Big props last week for Gretchen Mol, who might not have a candle bright enough to hold against her LAGGIES co-star Keira Knightley but holds up fairly well regardless. This week we're celebrating All Hallow's Eve weekend with the release of the scariest looking Jake Gyllenhaal character so far, in NIGHTCRAWLER. It's nice that one of his co-stars is there to balance out his emaciated ugly. 



When I first really remember seeing Rene Russo, she was playing the mousy librarian that Tom Berenger's baseball player was hot for in MAJOR LEAGUE and I didn't understand the appeal. Sure, I was too young to see what that Russo has what is a more mature and yet ageless sort of sexuality that hasn't changed much in the past 30 or so years. 




Russo really is a presence when she's in a film, whether by being fun and a bit silly in the MAJOR LEAGUE sense or by being the wrapped up, strapped down futuristic hottie in FREEJACK (yeah, it's a dumb film but it's one of those dumb ones I could easily watch over and over). She typically plays a lot of burdened wife characters, which isn't easy to sell, but I suppose if you're going to be hitched to someone for the long term, she's the best way to go.
