Actor Leonardo DiCaprio has announced that his foundation will donate $2 million to an international collaborative funding organisation
Oceans 5, which works to establish marine reserves and stop overfishing in the world's oceans.
DiCaprio made the announcement Thursday, saying "The sad truth is that less than two percent of our oceans are fully protected. We need to change that now."
The $2 million funds will help improve fisheries enforcement in Europe, US and Central America, reports hollywoodreporter.com.

Katy Perry's love letters to be auctioned
Singer Katy Perry wrote a number of letters to a boy called Christopher when she was 11. The love letters that she wrote to her crush way back in 1995, are now up for auction.
The letters, which are to be sold by Juliens Auctions next month, are estimated to be bought at over $800, reports mirror.co.uk.
One of these notes begins with: `Dear Christopher, I got your address from a special person, your mom! I didn't know it, but your mom was sitting right in front of me on the couch and I said I liked you and I didn't know that it was your mum! I was so embarrassed your mom told me to write you and I did."

An excerpt from his upcoming book "Ed Sheeran: A Visual Journey", premiered by MTV, led Ed Sheeran's fans to assume that he was briefly homeless in the past. But the singer has clarified that it was never so.
"It's been really taken out of context in press -- everyone's saying Ed Sheeran was homeless. I never say that in the book," he told Capital FM, reports eonline.com.
"I went without a bed for some nights, that's it. It's just that I didn't have a place to stay (those nights), so I slept on the Central Line and outside Buckingham Palace. That's just what I did," he added.
