The first Indian woman to win the Miss Universe crown, the bold, beautiful and sassy Sushmita Sen celebrates her 39th birthday on Wednesday. 
The Bollywood actress, despite her military background, chose to make a career in the Indian film industry after winning the crown. 
She began her journey in Bollywood with her debut film "Dastak" (1996). The actress won awards for comedy-romantic film "Biwi No. 1" opposite Salman Khan in 1999.
