"Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" triumphed at the 9th Renault Star Guild Awards
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directed biopic "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" triumphed at the 9th Renault Star Guild Awards by winning eight awards, including best film, best director and best actor trophy for Farhan Akhtar for portraying former athlete Milkha Singh. The award ceremony, held Thursday, also saw Deepika Padukone winning the best actress trophy for "Chennai Express",
while Divya Dutta won the best supporting actress award for "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag". "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag", a biopic on Milkha Singh, saw Prasoon Joshi clinching two awards for best story and best screenplay, while the film also won the best sound design award for Nakul Kamte and the best cinematography award for Binod Pradhan. Well-known writer Salim Khan and yesteryears actress Tanjua were honoured with lifetime achievement honours, while the entertainer of the year title went to Shah Rukh Khan. The K.A.
