Aashiqui 2 Songs Lyrics & Videos: Aashiqui 2 is remake of 1990's romantic-drama-musical Aashiqui. That film was directed and co-produced by Mahesh Bhatt. T-Series and Mahesh Bhatt collaborated again and made this new film for which they also took online auditions last year for lead cast. But didn't got what they were looking and finally end up casting Aditya Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in the leading roles. Aashiqui 2 has been directed by Mohit Suri.
Aashiqui soundtrack was hugely succesful and had 11 tracks composed by Nadeem Shravan. The Aashiqui 2 OST also has 11 tracks, composed by three different composers. Mithoon has composed three tracks, Jeet Gangulli composed six songs and Ankit Tiwari got two tracks to compose. Arijit Singh has sung the maximum five number of songs in this album. The song Tum Hi Ho was released before the album which got huge success and audience were waiting for the album release. Finally wait is over and album is here. The movie is like above average. You can say, it is almost the copy of old ashiqui. so there is nothing new except the songs. songs are as good as like the previous one. .
