'Highway', the much anticipated film by Imtiaz Ali had turned out to be a dampener at the box office by collecting merely Rs.3.42 crore on the opening day in India. "Highway Fri Rs.3.42 cr nett [on approx 800 screens]. India biz only", tweeted trade analyst, Taran Adarsh.
Although critics and fans have given mixed reviews for the film, but 'Highway' is still marching ahead of the other release this weekend, 'Darr at the Mall'.

The film has fared well particularly in multiplexes; Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgoan and Bangalore having contributed the highest collections in India.

On the second day of its release, 'Highway' has witnessed a slight growth, having minted Rs.4.5 crore, according to a leading portal.

The performance of the Alia-Randeep starrer so far has been decent, considering the fact that it released only in around 700 screens in India.

Written and directed by Imtiaz Ali, 'Highway' has Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda in lead roles. The film's music has been composed by Oscar-winner AR Rahman.

Miley Cyrus locks lips with Katy Perry, shocks onlookers

From overshadowing her Hannah Montana image to mending a broken heart, the young singer surely knows how to stay in the headlines. But looks like the habit of being in news has taken a toll over her sanity.

From being a role model for young kids she has become a laughing stock today. Be it twerking or sticking out her tongue or smoking weed on the stage, she has done it all to hamper her image.

Shockingly she has taken it a step ahead. She recently stunned her fans in Vancouver, Canada, when she performed a racy song-and-dance with the former US President Bill Clinton's impersonator.

The 21-year-old showed off her X-rated moves during the first show of her Bangerz Tour Friday. Her most shocking performance was when she sang and danced with back-up dancer who wore a Clinton mask and dark suit, during her "Party in the U.S.A." finale number.

Cyrus, clad in a high-cut sparkly one piece garment, cowboy boots and a hat, got down on her knee and bent low while her masked partner grooved to the music in front of her.

One wonders, if this attitude is because of lack of real friends and well wishers or has she become habitual. Miley surely needs to introspect her acts or she could fall flat in no time.
